Argentina's landscape is diverse, to say at least; soaring volcanoes, crystal lakes, sprawling forests, get a glimpse of whales, elephant seals, rheas, guanacos and other critters in the deserts or in the popular wildlife reserve on the Patagonian Coast. The"Reserva Provincal Punta Tombo" is South America's largest nesting ground with a colony of over a half-million Maellanic penguins. The Parque Nacional Los Glaciares with its center piece the Moreno Glacier is one of the earth's few advancing glaciers. Visiting the Glacier Park and experiencing the auditory and visual effects as huge icebergs calve into the Iceberg Channel, is just another highlight on our journey. Located at the extreme northeastern tip of Argentina, the Cataratas Iguazu (Iguazu Falls) are among the most spectacular sites on the planet. They lie within a 2100 sq km of national park, much of it is rain forest, and the falls are situated between Brazil and Argentina.

activities and places we go: we enjoy buenos aires on a guided private tour; a vibrant city with its magnificent architecture, beautiful museums, galleries and tango places. we fly to puerto madryn which is the place of the magellanic penguins, we visit the peninsula of valdes with its magic beaches, hiking trails, offering us great opportunities for bird watching. our next flight brings us close to the glacier national park, our lodge is built on the patagonian steppe, an area rich in rivers, lagoons and lakes, and over 40 different species of migrating birds can be spotted during our hikes and horseback ride. patagonia's crystal clear waters are perfect for a lake cruise, and the surrounding terrain opens up for an adventurous 4x4 ride off the beaten path. we will explore the moreno glacier on a guided mini trekking tour. we will explore the countryside of mendoza with its charming wineries, haciendas and warm local hospitality; perfect for relaxation, good food and lovely wines. rafting the mendoza river offers a wonderful insight into the back country. another flight brings us north to posadas, where our lodging is located close to the impressive iguazu falls. a full day of adventure, a sailing excursion and a 4x4 jungle ride will round off this great excursion. and as everything good comes to an end, we will return to buenos aires for our International flights home.

not included in your trip package price: international flight to Buenos Aires and local flights. Please budget flight costs of about $ 1,600.00 - 2000.00 for your International flight as this is depending on your departure city. For the inland flights in Argentina please budget about $1100.00. trip deposit is $ 1,500.00 per person at time of registration. please give us your passport information at the same time, as we need it for the flight reservations. after we receive your deposit, detailed trip information will be forwarded to you containing: name and address of our argentina contact office, detailed lodging list, flight schedules, details and helpful hints about the areas we will visit, immunization information, packing list, tips on safe money exchange, and suggestions about additional personal money for gifts, meals not included in trip package, tips to local guides etc.
